What is Brazilian Keratin?
Brazilian Keratin is a smoothing treatment that infuses keratin protein into the hair shaft and seals it with controlled heat. The result is hair that is dramatically smoother, easier to style, frizz-resistant in humidity, and visibly shinier. Unlike a relaxer, it does not break the hair's bonds — it conditions and seals them.
What to expect
- Duration: 2.5–4 hours depending on length and density
- Results: Visible smoothing and shine immediately; full set takes ~72 hours after rinse
- Longevity: 3–5 months with proper aftercare and a sulfate-free home-care system
- Aftercare: Sulfate-free shampoo, no heavy products for 72 hours, no tight ponytails or clips that crease the hair for the first 3 days

We exclusively use formaldehyde-free, professional-grade Brazilian formulas — the same family of products used in high-end salons in São Paulo and Rio. We never use the cheap formaldehyde-based smoothing treatments that flooded the U.S. market in the 2010s. If a salon offers a 30-minute "Brazilian" for $99, they are not using what we use.
